The short version
We don’t sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies. Questions: support@darts180.app.
Playing without an account
Your games, settings and free-play count are saved in your browser on this device, not on our servers, and no cookies are set. Clearing this site’s data deletes them.
With an account
We keep your email address, a display name, and your password only as a one-way scrambled hash — never the password itself. With Google sign-in, Google gives us your name, email and profile picture link instead.
Signing in keeps a session (with your IP address and browser type, for security) for 7 days, renewed while you play, and one sign-in cookie. We email you only to confirm your address, reset your password or tell you about an important change here. Your last 10 matches are saved on your device.
Feedback and bug reports
Feedback keeps your message, the page and game you were on, the app version, your account id if you’re signed in, and your email only if you add one. It also carries a picture of the screen you were on and the log of the leg in progress (the scores and darts, and the player names as typed) — the Feedback sheet says so. We use them only to find and fix problems; they never go into our public bug tracker, and only the newest 200 pictures are kept (older feedback keeps its text and match log). A bug report sent while signed in also carries the last turns of the match, your browser and screen size, and your account email so we can reply.
Crash reports and counts
If the app crashes, it sends us the error and where it happened — nothing about you. We also count anonymous events (a game started, a leg finished, an account created) and page visits, with no cookie, id or IP address attached.
Sharing a match
A shared live match copies the scoreboard — player names and scores — to our server so others can watch; it’s deleted automatically within two days. Invite links only say which game to open.
Changes
When this changes we update the date above, and email account holders about important changes.
